Donate to a Virginia Safety Net Program
Safety net programs are designed to assist horse owners with resources during exceptional times of need. These kinds of services can drastically improve the lives of Virginia's equines by keeping horses with their owners and reducing the strain on the rescue community. With fewer horses being relinquished due to hardship, Virginia's equine rescues and sanctuaries can focus more on the animals that really need them.

At this time, Virginia Partnership for Horses is not collecting monetary donations for Safety Net Programs. However, we encourage you to follow the links below to discover the Rescue Partners and Welfare Groups that are providing these resources and contribute to them directly.
In-Kind Donations
Virginia Partnership can accept in-kind donations such as blankets, barn equipment, hay and unused feed, medications and supplements on behalf of Virginia's rescues. These items are listed within the Partner Forum or brought to one of our semi-annual meetings for distribution. To organize pick-up or drop off of your donated items, please use the contact button below.

Partners and Advisors

Likewise, we are always open to adding the voices of Virginia's equine professionals into the conversation. If you are an equine professional (vet, farrier, trainer, etc.) interested in equine welfare and want to know more we, then we would love to hear from you!
