ABOUT US

In addition to our Rescue and Sanctuary Partners, our collaboration incorporates the wisdom and experience of equine professionals with a panel of Equine Welfare Advisors and a dedicated Board of Directors.

Equine Welfare Advisors

These organizations work alongside Virginia's equines to advocate for their welfare and proper care. They are participating in the conversation amongst rescue and sanctuaries on how to help Virginia horses in need.

Virginia Equine, PLLC

Virginia Equine, PLLC serves much of Central VA and beyond.  We are an ambulatory practice with five mobile veterinarians on board, with a clinic for haul-in appointments and medical care.  We provide after hours emergency services to clients within the service area. Our concentration is in performance horses, wellness, and preventative medicine.

Board of Directors

Our dedicated Board of Directors meets once a quarter to get updates and guide new initiatives. Each member represents a unique and diverse worldview but agrees on the central tenet of equine welfare.
